Baking with Leslie Mackie Fundraiser

Bake with Macrina Bakery founder Leslie Mackie and support Guatemala Village Health's efforts in improving Mayan villagers' lives! 

Virtually join Leslie in her kitchen from your kitchen on Thursday 2/9 at 7PM and bake 2 types of shorbread linzer cookies:  sour cherry & hazelnut!

Leslie Mackie founded Macrina Bakery in 1993 and has since expanded it to five locations in Seattle. She's published multiple cookbooks and received numerous awards for her work. We are huge fans of Leslie's baked goods and can't wait to bring some of her magic to life in our own kitchens*!  

Admission:

$114 (Valentine Special!) -  Includes a baking tutorial from Leslie, Macrina Bakery sour cherry shortbread mix*, Macrina Bakery chilled hazelnut shortbread dough** made especially for GVH, raspberry conserves, serveware from Three by Three and more

This event is open for Seattle area folks.  Kits will be delivered within Seattle city limits on Tuesday 2/7.  You also have the option to pick-up in Edmonds or on the Eastside.

*Participants will need to add butter to the mix

***Both shortbread mix & dough contain gluten
