Tools for planting and harvesting

Permaculture is a return to traditional Mayan farming of high nutrient foods combined with modern understanding of how to maximize production in a sustainable way.  It all starts with a review of the available land with observation of water sources and concentration as well as identification of areas of sun and shade.  Trees, bushes and gardens are planted in small groupings with ideal proximity for pest control. GVH provides simple tools for farming which along with hand labor, natural compost and pest control allow families to plant and harvest nutritious food with accessible resources.
