Training in permaculture farming for healthy food
Training in permaculture farming to grow healthy food sustainably:
An ongoing supply of high nutrient foods is essential to prevent malnutrition and stunting. Permaculture is a practical method of ecologically harmonious and efficient food production that can be used by anyone, anywhere. After studying at the Instituto Mesoamericano de Permacultura, GVH staff developed a permaculture training program at our education center in Santiago. They implemented 15 village family pilots over the past 2 years and launched our first year long training course this month. It will consist of 6 workshops taught in their native language of Q’eqchi’ by our staff at our center in Chinachabilchoch. Each family will develop a food forest and a kitchen garden at their home.
$30 per family for a yearlong training with 6 workshops
