2024 Annual Fundraiser in Review
Dear Friends,
We are excited to let you know that with your help and generosity we raised over $110,000 at the June 2024 Gala/auction! This is a new record for us and you made it happen!
We hope you enjoyed learning more about our work in the villages by visiting our Marketplace and seeing displays of maternal and baby health, permaculture, composting toilets, and smokeless stoves.
Guests had fun visiting with friends and former trip alumni as well as enjoying dinner and music and Guatemalan food and drinks.
A highlight of the event was Jennifer Hoock, cofounder, presenting Samuel Alvarez , our outgoing Director from Guatemala, a special award. Also wonderful to see Joanne Leovy M.D. honored as Volunteer of the Year!
We sincerely thank all of you for your tremendous spirit of giving that makes possible our life saving work in Guatemala.
