Healthy Schools
Educating students about healthy living is crucial to a community's health, as it can provide increased understanding of complex issues critical to wellbeing to the next generation.

We work to improve children's health in schools by:
-
Distributing toothbrushes and toothpaste, providing dental care and nutritious snacks in schools.
-
Providing a healthy school environment including clean water and adequate sanitation facilities to decrease the frequency of illness.
-
Promoting good health through the education of nutrition and disease prevention
-
Educating on everything from hygiene to puberty
-
Supervising composting toilets and eco-filters while supporting teachers in other health projects
-
Screening to identify children with health needs, and triage in acute situations
-
Providing deworming every 6 months.
