Fencing to protect vegetables from animals and vermin

Fencing to protect vegetables from animals and vermin

$40.00Price

Although many of our villagers have tried over the years to cultivate garden vegetables, they struggle with protecting their food from chickens and pigs roaming the village, rodents and other wild animals. Although they have experimented with a variety of natural barriers, it is common for their healthy food to disappear overnight before they can harvest it.  Fencing areas where food is growing allows predictable production for families and helps protect plants as they grow from delicate seedlings to vegetables to feed a hungry family.  Buying fencing is beyond the resources of most villagers and an integral part of sustainable permaculture farming.
